Jillian Is Your Friend

{ramblings & chronicles on food x music}

About

Now defunct, this blog started in 2010 as a food blog, (particularly in Iloilo) or a mix of Manila grub, gigs, shows, lifestyle & the occasional rant. Amateur online essays, really. Sometimes in wrong grammar or with numerous typos. Foremost, these are chronicles of my gastronomic x tune-filled adventures which shall remind me that I did live my life once I reach mid-life crisis or something. I intend to keep living this way: full to the brim with good music & great meals. I want to share my world through my mediocre words & phone quality photos. Through this small community of auditory/gustatory lovers, I want to be your friend.

      Hi Ronnie, that’s really good to know something as simple as bread could trigger fond memories. Thank you!

    I so love your blog! I discovered a lot of restos here in Iloilo that I haven’t been yet. It also gave me idea on what to order since i’m a first timer. Looking forward to more of your posts! 🙂

      Hiii! Right now I am armed with a trusty iPhone but I used to take photos with a Canon450D with the occasional digital camera. A Canon 310HS 🙂
