Yet To Be Outdone: Yakimix

Picture it all in your head: raw goods to grill, sushi, sashimi, seafood, savoury viand, noodles, soup, dessert, choices of drinks all under one restaurant roof. Cantonese, Korean & Japanese cusine to divulge in within reach. Imagine no more — Yakimix is Asian cuisine heaven on earth.

I am at a loss for words for this eat-all-you can buffet which left my mouth tired, my stomach wanting to burst & my appetite more than sated. The photos above will showcase some of the food I was able to deposit in my gut, no captions or words to explain further.

The basics: Irene & I ate at Yakimix‘s new branch at Greenbelt. Be ready to shell out Php580 for your Yakimix experience on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & holidays. On weekdays however, the buffet would cost Php490. Bottomless drinks cost Php55 — you may change drink varieties as you dine. The price is well-worth your choice of food from six buffet tables. For good cuisine, price is not an issue when you’re me. Be sure to grab a reservation beforehand or be there early as lines are long especially during the weekends (as we learned the hard way). Not to worry though! There are several branches found in Mall of Asia, Tomas Morato in Quezon & Hobbies of Asia at Pasay.

I am at a loss for words. All I can say is this epicurean moment has yet to be outdone.
