Amico’s Pizza

I heard Amico’s Pizza would open in front of the Off Price store. I thought a large building would be put up but much to my surprise, a small kiosk was literally in front of Off Price! Cute, actually.

Meet Amico’s

I went there around lunchtime at 11 & they just opened. The weather was humid & their al fresco setting was a bit uncomfortable but nevertheless, I am in quest of great food — so order I shall! I take a look at their menu & find out that pizzas may be ordered in several sizes: 10″, 15″, 20″, 25″, 30″ and 36″. The prices vary with the 10″ pizzas ranging from Php140 & 36″ pizzas end at around Php1300. All things that consist in their menu is pizza — no pasta or appetizers in sight.

I ordered a 10″ Amico’s Special to the recommendation of the waiter — a concoction of mozarella, tomato, beef fillet, pork fillet & the Amico Special Sauce for around Php270. For my part, I didn’t thoroughly think the pizza was that great. Must be the dough of the crust? It was indeed thin crust but I felt positively stuffed with dough after eating. Not bad though.

The Amico Special

I’d love to try their other pizza flavors such as Merry-Go-Round & El Grammo. The menu is divided into two kinds of pizza: tomato sauce based & white sauce based. The Besciamella sounds good to me!

It’s nice to know that on weekends, Amico’s close at two in the morning. A quick pizza fix after a long night out would be good. Try an Amico pizza today.
