Epicurean Explosions

My dress is about to burst. Just came home from my cousin’s baby’s 1st birthday party & it was a dream for every Chinese kid. Too bad he’s too young to remember. Manang did the works for the Kung Fu Panda themed party held at the Grand Hotel: dumplings stands, a Wushu instructor, crazy decorations, 2 buffet tables, everything!

Paopao’s awesome party

One thing I enjoy about Manang Yam’s celebrations is that the food is always overflowing. Always. I remember during her wedding, the reception had a twelve course meal. For their little one, they had a six course meal & two separate buffet tables for the kids & adults. I have a happy tummy right now & shall happily reiterate all the dishes I ate (right back at you, Kia & Nads).

I love you Manang & Paopao! Busog gid ko ya. The Grand Hotel has a restaurant near Imperial Appliance’s building near Iznart. The food at the party was great so I’m putting that on my notebook!
